No, Jaipur Ride is an independent companion app and marketing website developed to assist tourists and daily commuters in Jaipur. We are not officially affiliated with Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation (JMRC). All travel statistics, timings, and fares shown are estimates.
No. The web journey planner is a simulation tool that runs entirely using local static metro databases. It does not request device location permissions or track you. To experience real-time location tracking and live notifications, download the official Jaipur Ride Android application.
The ticket prices are determined based on the total number of stations traveled. A journey of 1-2 stations costs ₹10, 3-5 stations costs ₹15, 6-8 stations costs ₹25, and 9 or more stations costs ₹30. Recharging your Smart Card gives you a 10% discount on every ride.
The Android application uses your device's GPS and cell towers to track your position in real-time as you ride the metro. It alerts you when you are approaching your destination and provides platform information. This feature requires fine location permissions and is exclusive to the Android App.
